This winter transfer window is always a period of significant rumour and possible major moves. Numerous notable players are being connected to transfers out of their current clubs. Here is a look at some of the major names that might be changing clubs in January.

Antoine Semenyo

Latest reports indicate the Premier League champions look to have won the race for his services. The England defender has impress for Palace despite a summer transfer to Anfield collapsing. With his deal due to run out in the close season, this represents the London club's final chance to secure a transfer fee for their captain. A host of elite sides, including Manchester City and multiple European giants like Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, are believed to hold an interest. Yet, a winter departure remains difficult, especially given the coach's reliance on the player.

B. Johnson

This Wales forward has found starting opportunities limited at Spurs this campaign. Despite being the club's top scorer the previous campaign, Johnson has started just a handful of league games. It is understood the London club is open to a transfer for the correct price, thought to be in the region of forty million pounds. The Cherries appear to be at the front of the queue, with Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, and Brentford additionally showing an interest.

This 19-year-old is heavily expected to make a major move this month. Newcastle United reportedly are leading the chase, but are facing stiff rivalry from Real Madrid for a deal priced at around £22 million.
